Certified Veterinary Technician
Before joining Burleigh Road Animal Hospital in April of 2017, Mary had a successful career of over 30 years in the automotive industry. With a gentle nudge from her husband, she enrolled in Milwaukee Career College. In May of 2017, she graduated with highest honors from the Veterinary Assistant Program. This new chapter of her life is truly a dream come true. In her free time, Mary enjoys spending time with her husband and their fur babies, Ava, a Papillon, and the newest addition, Poppy, a Hunt Terrier. Cooking, hiking, knitting and working out are some of her hobbies.
Guinness has been a part of Burleigh Road Animal Hospital since 2015. He is the Chief Mischief-Maker at the animal hospital and he takes his job very seriously! You may not see him very often since he is very busy behind the scenes. His primary responsibilites include: keeping the copier warm, knocking his food on the ground and spreading his black fur over as many surfaces as possible! Next time you stop in for a visit with one of our veterinarians or to pick up medication or food, ask to meet him!
Olivia joined our team in 2017. She was always unsure which career path would fit her best until one day she woke up and spontaneously decided to go into the field of helping animals. It was the one thing that she had always been passionate about since she was a child. She enrolled into the veterinary assistant program at Milwaukee Area Career College with the hopes of being able to provide the best possible health care to pets. As soon as she graduated from the veterinary assistant program, she immediately started working at Burleigh Road Animal Hospital and ever since, has grown as an assistant and expanded her medical knowledge further than she had ever expected. She hopes to one day continue her education and become a Certified Veterinary Technician. In the meantime, her goal is to educate as many people as possible on how to properly care for their pets so they can live out healthier and happier lives. In her spare time she enjoys trying new things and being a parent to her son.
